David Riley

David Riley is the Board Chair. He has been a member of the Spring Hill Board of Trustees since 2019. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from University of Guelph and attended Sheridan College of Arts & Design to study Photography, both in Canada. David has 30+ years executive experience in business development, with a focus on global growth through innovative business modeling and development of creative partnerships. He has extensive background in global logistics and manufacturing, and managing highly effective cross-functional teams. David is the co-founder and COO of Shulz, an equestrian bag and apparel company; co-founder and CEO of Riley, a travel bag and apparel company. and was Senior Vice President of DayMen US, a leading designer, marketer, and distributor of high performance branded bags, packs, cases, tripods, and straps for digital imaging and related electronic devices; and General Manager of Lowepro, a brand of carrying bags for cameras, laptops, imaging accessories and portable consumer electronics.

Christine Bean

Christine Bean

Christine is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Golden State Lumber, where she's had the privilege of contributing to their growth and success for over 8 years now. Her journey began at HP/Agilent, where she honed my financial acumen and developed a deep understanding of corporate finance.

In addition to her professional endeavors, she is proud to be a loving spouse and a parent to four wonderful grown children, two grandchildren, and two Dobermans. Her family loves annual visits to Cabo and Tahoe.

Throughout her career, she has navigated through various financial landscapes, gaining insights and experiences that have shaped her approach to leadership and decision-making. She looks forward to engaging with the Spring Hill Board & community, sharing insights, and learning from each other's experiences as part of this esteemed group.

Katie Ferguson

Katie Ferguson

Katie Ferguson joined the Board in 2025, bringing with her a background in non-profit museum management and human resources. She holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in art history. In her work, she serves as the Associate Director of Human Resources at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, which includes the de Young and the Legion of Honor.

Katie has experience in all facets of HR work, ranging from compliance to employee and labor relations to organizational strategy.

She is the parent of a current Spring Hill student, and cares deeply about the education and community provided by the school.

Seth Nobmann

Seth Nobmann has been a member of the Spring Hill Board of Trustees in 2017. He holds the position of Board Secretary. Seth is CEO of Advanced Building Solutions (ABS), where he has been on the leadership team for 15 years. ABS is a full-service real estate development Company with a focus on multi-family housing. ABS has developed over $350 million dollars, covering a wide range of projects throughout Northern California. Seth has a BS in Business Administration and Management from California State University, Northridge. He was instrumental in chairing Spring Hill’s Facility Committee and in leading the design and construction project and team for Spring Hill's new middle school campus. Seth has two sons who have attended Spring Hill. Seth’s experience and achievements and perspective as a Spring Hill alum himself are invaluable.

Adam Osborn

Adam Osborn

Adam Osborn has been a Spring Hill parent for over 5 years and joined the Board in 2025. His childhood was spent living in the Bay Area as well as several states in the US and abroad in England and France, but he eventually settled back in his hometown of Point Reyes Station. Locally, he attended West Marin Elementary and Tomales High School, and his family owned Black Mountain Ranch for generations, which gave him deep roots in the West Marin community.

After earning his B.S. in Construction Management from Chico State and spending time abroad in Portugal and Brazil, Adam moved to Los Angeles, where he contributed to major projects including the Ovation Hollywood Center, the Dolby Theatre, and a number of new schools for LAUSD. Eventually returning to the North Bay, he focused on building luxury custom homes in San Francisco, Marin, and Sonoma counties, with some being recognized in leading industry magazines.

Now, with over 24 years of experience and more than $550 million in completed projects across Commercial, Life Science, Healthcare, Schools, Residential, and Public Works sectors, Adam owns and operates ACO Construction Management, a consulting firm that supports property owners and developers with their projects throughout the West Coast.

He chairs the Building and Grounds Committee at Spring Hill and is dedicated to shaping the school’s future by listening to the community, learning from the past, and providing thoughtful guidance to the Board and school community.

Leslie Taylor

Leslie Taylor

Leslie Taylor grew up on Cape Cod and moved to California in 1996. A lifelong rider, Leslie is the owner of Melody Oak Farm LLC, an equestrian boarding and training facility in Petaluma. Leslie holds a degree in English Literature and comes to Spring Hill's board with a generational commiitment to the independent school model.

Leslie hails from a family of independent school graduates and educators including her grandfather who was the Head of St. Andrews School in Delaware from 1958-1976, bringing both integration and coeducation to that campus. Leslie's husband Craig was a special education teacher first at Pinole Middle School and then Terra Linda High School for 20 years.

Leslie served on the W.H. Pepper Preschool Board as secretary from 2014-2017. She has been serving on The Spring Hill School Board since 2021. She is also a member of the board at Sonoma Academy.

Bringing the parent perspective to the board, Leslie has been involved in the founding and growth of the middle school and believes deeply in Spring Hill’s model for education. Both of Leslie's daughters graduated from Spring Hill. Adeline is currently attending Syracuse University and Lorelei is a student at Sonoma Academy.

There is nothing more impactful that a parent can provide to a child than the very best education. Leslie is honored to support The Spring Hill School in its mission to do so.
